What are the fuel prices in the UAE for September 2026?

UAE fuel prices for September 2026, per litre: Super 98 AED 3.80, Special 95 AED 3.69, E-Plus 91 AED 3.61, diesel AED 4.30. Diesel is up 50 fils versus August 2026. Prices are set once a month by the UAE Fuel Price Committee (Ministry of Energy & Infrastructure), announced on the last day of the month and applied nationwide from the 1st at ADNOC, ENOC and EPPCO stations. Over the last 12 months Special 95 ranged AED 2.33–3.83 and diesel AED 2.52–4.69.

How UAE fuel prices are set

01 · BENCHMARK

The Fuel Price Committee takes the month's average international gasoline and gasoil prices, adds distribution and operating costs, and publishes one national price per grade. It has done so monthly since deregulation in August 2015.

02 · ANNOUNCEMENT

New prices are announced on the last day of the month and apply from 00:00 on the 1st — at every station of every brand in every emirate. There are no regional or brand differences at the pump.

03 · YOUR BUDGET

Because the price is fixed for a whole month, the only variables left in your fuel bill are litres burned and litres lost. Telematics controls the first; fuel sensors expose the second.

UAE Fuel Prices — FAQ

For September 2026 the UAE Fuel Price Committee set Super 98 at AED 3.80, Special 95 at AED 3.69, E-Plus 91 at AED 3.61 and diesel at AED 4.30 per litre. Compared with August 2026, Special 95 is up 20 fils and diesel is up 50 fils. Prices are the same at every emirate and every brand (ADNOC, ENOC, EPPCO, Emarat).
Since August 2015 UAE retail fuel prices have been set monthly by the Fuel Price Committee chaired by the Ministry of Energy & Infrastructure, following international benchmark prices plus distribution and operating costs. The new prices are announced on the last day of each month (usually in the evening) and take effect at 00:00 on the 1st. Because they change only once a month, fleet operators can lock next month's fuel budget the moment the announcement lands.
Diesel tracks the international gasoil benchmark, which since 2022 has traded above gasoline benchmarks because of tight refining capacity and strong demand from shipping, industry and power generation. In September 2026 diesel is AED 4.30 against AED 3.69 for Special 95. For diesel fleets this makes idling and route waste more expensive per litre — every 1% of consumption saved is worth more on a diesel truck than on a petrol car.
Litres per month = (km per vehicle ÷ 100) × L/100km × number of vehicles. Multiply by the new per-litre price the evening it is announced. The calculator above does this instantly and also shows the change versus last month at the same mileage and the 12-month low/high band, so you can set a realistic buffer. If you use fuel cards, reconcile card litres against odometer-based litres — a gap of more than 5-10% usually means theft, unauthorised private use or a leaking tank.
GPS telematics without a fuel sensor typically recovers about 13% of fuel spend: around 7% from idling control (engine-on, zero-speed alerts and reports) and around 6% from route optimisation. Adding a capacitive fuel sensor with theft detection typically recovers a further 10-20% on fleets that currently have no fuel visibility. The recoverable amount shown in the calculator uses the same rates as IOTee's fleet savings calculator.
